Product Overview
Quicklime Powder, chemically known as Calcium Oxide (CaO), is one of the most widely consumed industrial chemicals in the world. It is produced by calcining high-purity limestone (CaCO₃) in rotary or vertical shaft kilns at temperatures between 900°C and 1200°C, driving off CO₂ to leave behind highly reactive calcium oxide. The result is an extremely alkaline, highly reactive solid that forms the foundation of countless industrial chemical processes.
CHEMICALLANE's Quicklime Powder is manufactured from carefully selected, high-calcite limestone sources, ensuring consistent CaO purity of 90–95% and low MgO and silica levels across every batch. Available in both fine powder (75–150 microns) and lump (10–50 mm) forms, our product is ready for direct use in water treatment dosing systems, lime slakers, steel converters, soil stabilization projects, and industrial chemical processes.
Every batch is tested in-house for CaO content, MgO, SiO₂, loss on ignition, reactivity (T60), and moisture before dispatch. A Certificate of Analysis and full MSDS are provided as standard — not on request.
Safety Note: Quicklime is a corrosive, exothermic material. It reacts vigorously with water, generating intense heat. Handle with PPE (gloves, goggles, dust respirator). Store in sealed, dry conditions away from moisture. Full MSDS provided with every shipment.
Primary chemical for pH correction, softening, and heavy metal precipitation in ETP, STP, and municipal water treatment plants.
T60 reactivity ≤ 3 minutes — fast-reacting, high-availability CaO suitable for rapid dosing in continuous industrial processes.
Factory-to-plant supply covering India, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Ludhiana, and 100+ cities nationwide.
CoA, MSDS, TDS, and GST billing with every shipment — everything your EHS team and quality auditors require.

Every percentage point of CaO purity directly impacts reagent consumption, process efficiency, and operating cost. Here's what consistent quality delivers in practice.
High-purity CaO means less lime per tonne of wastewater treated — reducing sludge volume and reagent consumption in your process.
Fast-reacting grade ensures rapid slaking and pH adjustment — critical for continuous ETP/STP operations and steel slag processes.
Delivers peak alkalinity for effective heavy metal precipitation, sulfide removal, and biological treatment optimization in wastewater systems.
CoA, MSDS, and TDS provided without exception — essential for regulated industries including water utilities and pharmaceutical processing.

Application Rate Guide
Quicklime dosage varies significantly by application and inlet conditions. These are industry-standard reference ranges — actual dosage should be determined by jar testing, titration, or process simulation based on your specific feed water chemistry or process requirements.
Our process engineers can assist with lime dosage calculations for water treatment systems, FGD retrofits, and soil stabilization projects at no additional cost.
